In 2023, SERS began developing a five-year strategic plan to guide the organization’s work. Evolving technology, workforce expectations, and long-term system needs prompted leadership to take a thoughtful, forward-looking approach to planning.
The strategic planning process incorporated input from a broad group of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the plan reflects both operational realities and the needs of members, retirees, employers, and advocacy partners.
